Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

Drop-in care offers flexibility for families needing occasional childcare. To maintain fairness and operational efficiency:

  • Payment: Full payment is required at the time of reservation.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • 7 or more days' notice: 50% refund.

    • Less than 7 days' notice: No refund.

  • No-Shows: No refund will be issued for missed appointments without prior cancellation.

  • Provider Cancellations: In the rare event that the daycare must cancel, a full refund or credit toward a future session will be provided.

For families enrolled in regular weekly care, it's important to have policies that reflect the commitment to reserving a spot for their child: 

  • Tuition: Due in advance on a weekly or monthly basis, as agreed upon in the enrollment contract.

  • Absences: No refunds or credits for missed days due to illness, vacations, or other personal reasons, as the spot is held exclusively for the enrolled child.

  • Provider Closures: If the daycare must close unexpectedly (e.g., emergencies, inclement weather), a credit or refund will be issued for the missed days.

  • Withdrawal: A two-week written notice is required for withdrawal. Tuition for this period is non-refundable, regardless of attendance.

Note: Many daycare providers adopt a no-refund policy for absences, emphasizing that tuition secures the child's spot, not just attendance.
